Fingerprint Creatures
Create art using your fingerprint and a pen.
This idea was thought of by one of my third grade students.
The image above shows the art created by J.R., a third grade student. Thank you for this great idea!
Directions:
Use a marker, stamp pad, or paint to create fingerprints Color or paint on your finger then press firmly on to a piece of paper. Note: some markers are not washable (even if they are labeled washable), the ink from the marker might stain your fingers for a few hours. It will wash off eventually.
Use a pen or thin marker to add details to change your fingerprint into creatures, machines, people, or anything you can imagine. Have fun!
